Getting back in the swing of things

Wow!  It has been a long time since I last blogged.  I have decided after taking the blog down for a while that I miss it and want to continue to periodically update on the girls and us!  Maybe we will still have a few followers.  We have done a lot since the last post so I won't try and go back and update on all that.

Adah is 3 1/2 and is all girl!  She is in preschool and takes dance class!  She loves anything that has to do with dress up, dance, makeup and princesses!  She is our little princess for sure!

Michaela just turned 2 and is our dare devil!  She is sassy, rough, daring and just plain crazy!  We wouldn't want her any other way!  She will climb on and jump off of anything.  She is also in preschool but only 2 days a week for 3 hours at a time.  It gives mommy time to clean and grocery shop and it has some what broken her major attachment to mommy!

We are still living in GA for now but are excited about being done with this chapter in our lives and moving on to the next.  We love all our friends here in GA and the time that we have spent her so far.  We are just ready for daddy to be home more and not on a boat for a while.

Ms. M is 14 months

Well, I guess she is closer to 14 1/2 but better late than never!  She is quite the mover!  She loves to run, climb, etc.!  She is still our adventurous one.  She loves to take things from Adah or from around Adah and run as fast as she can and hide it or herself from Adah!  She knows exactly what to do to make her sister mad and she thinks it is so funny!  I love that Michaela loves to go see Adah each time she wakes up!  Adah is the first person she wants to see.  She just wants me to get her out of the crib and put her on the floor so that she can run as fast as she can to Adah's door and will stand there knocking until I open then when I do she runs as fast as she can to climb in Adah's bed screaming with delight!  Michaela is such a smart girl!  She doesn't really say anything yet but will copy all the sounds we make.  She knows what eveything is if I ask her to go get somethign or point to something she knows exactly what I'm talking about.  She pretends to talk on the phone, brush her hair, put bows in her hair, etc.  I think she doesn't talk much bc Adah talks too much!  She is getting her 7th tooth right now.  She loves to throw her hands up when we say hip hip hooray or when we ask her how big she is.  She loves to clap!  If you ask her to get Adah's belly button she will run straight to Adah and poke her in the belly button.  She loves to tickle tickle tickle herself.  If you ask her if her pants are too tight she will suck in her belly and we die laughing!  lol!  She is growing so much!  She is in size 3 diapers and I'm not sure how much she weighs.  We take her to the Dr. on the 20th for her hip.  Her left hip is higher than the right and so they referred us out to a pediatric orthopedic dr!  We are hoping its nothing but going just to double check!  We love you little M so much!  You are still mommys little girl and you don't like it when mommy leaves your site!  You are such a joy to be around and you smile can light up a room!  You are our precious little baby and we love you soo so much!

Update!

I feel like there is never enough time to blog or catch up!  I guess when you have 2 little ones running you non stop you don't have time for much else!

Adah is still enjoying school and learning so much!  She is quite the talking and LOVES to sing!  Today I thanked her for being polite and she responded "I'm not snow white!  I'm sleeping beauty!"  She is too funny!  She has really gotten into dressing up lately and I love it!  She also really loves baby dolls!  She hugs them, comforts them, puts them in time out, changes their diapers, puts them to bed, prays with them, sings to them, etc!  She is such a good mommy!  She likes for me to call her mommy and says that I am not mommy, that I am ms. Amanda!  When I put her hair in a pony tail she says "i'm ms Amanda!" and when she wants to her hair in a pony tail she tells me that she wants to be ms Amanda!  She has such a great imagination too!  I have such a love/hate feeling toward the age she is right now!  She is learning so much and becoming such and amazing, beautiful, caring, loving, demanding, bossy, opinionated, stubborn, hot tempered little girl!  I just love her to pieces and get excited to spend each new day with her and see what she is going to say, do or learn next!

 Michaela is growing and learning like crazy too!  She loves to do what ever her sister is doing and also loves to do everything her sister doesn't want her to do!  She loves to carry purses!  She is a serious eater and sometimes I am afraid that she doesn't know when she is full!  She would eat all day if I let her!  She is finally getting more teeth!  She still favors her mommy!  She naps and goes to bed SO good!  She is super ticklish and loves to laugh!  She also loves to be chased!  She now knows what a cow and a sheep say and gets so excited when she makes the sound that they make!  I just love seeing her smiling face each morning and the excitement she gets when we head toward Adah's room each morning!  She wants a hug from mommy but then she wants to run to her sister's room and as soon as we open the door she squeals with excitement and runs straight to her bed!  I just love my girls!

We took the girls to their first circus!  They both loved it!  I think we are going to have to start going each year!

 The weather here has yet to get cold!  It has been absolutely perfect here!  Sunny and in the 70's!  Thats the kind of winter I like!  I'm glad it has been so nice bc the girls just LOVE to be outside!

 We have also been going to the zoo a lot which is one of the girls favorite things to do!
